  Well I'm afraid of snakes and I'm new to hiking, so hearing the rattle of rattle snakes all around the area was pretty scary. I met another fellow hiker there and she said in the summer that's when they like to come out so if you see them in the trail just go around them. Decent views of the ocean and Malibu. To get to the trail you have to go up a few 1000 feet in elevation. The entrance is kind of hidden. If you drive into the one way street you've gone past it but it's near there. Parking available on the dirt road across the entrance.
